024: Cross-Border Offensive

EU wanna-be Turkey launches a not-an-invasion into Northern Syria as Trump abandons one-time ally Kurds.  The US was helping the Kurds fight off their ISIS enemies in Syria.  Of course, the US created ISIS to overthrow the Assad regime... the same regime the Kurds will now have to negotiate with to ensure their own survival.  Also, our opinions on the NBA - China kerfuffle.  We finish with some random thoughts on libertarianism, charity and anarchy.

023: Negative Interest in Impeachment

We start with exciting economics discussion of the Fed, interest rates, inflation and currency; and if that doesn't sound fun to you, well....  After a brief interlude discussing the DC District Court case that cast aside due process, we finish with impeachment controversy.

We give a quick background on the US' new neo-con National Security Advisor and the likely continuation of the brinksman policy with Iran.  Will US troops become Saudi Arabia's mercenary force?  We've gotta use 'em for something.  We address Canadian PM Pretty-Boy's scandal, and we end with a discussion of comedy in a woke world.

We run down a few of the standard international crises, to start things off light.  Then we address a domestic crisis, which (I'm told) is making everyone libertarian.  Beware the dangers of regulation to competition and free markets!

After an involuntary break, we return with a brief background and discussion of the riots in Hong Kong; though we cannot help but address the recent shooting incidents here in the good ol' US of A. This begins an extended criticism of President Trump's response and potential consequences, when qualified immunity already provides a nearly impenetrable shield for abuse by local law enforcement. Then, we move to the worst thing Trump's done since he took office.

Why Iran will never be a nuclear power and the (hopefully) upcoming agreement, but no one will trust the US. Maybe the ships will be let go. How the American Revolution ended slavery. Some stuff you may not know about whose getting paid off by the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. Finally, should you be jailed for intending to join a jihadi group or are you just an idiot?
