After starting with a completely inane anecdote, Michael dives into the numbers -- all kinds of numbers:  unemployment, mortality and virus studies.  Then, he addresses his concerns over where some authorities believe rights originate, and he gives the right answer.

Another solo episode as nature's taking over. People are being arrested for being out alone. The First Amendment's being completely ignored, and it's the first one! Mostly, though, economic talk:  Prices aren't arbitrary; where do they come from?

Another solo episode from Michael where he talks about how the media and government have built up a level of distrust over decades of sensationalizing or outright lying.  He attacks the nationwide imprisonment of people in their homes and draws parallels to another occupation where you weren't allowed to leave your residence.  He discusses free market alternatives to the government-enforced shutdown of business, and finally ends with the inconsistent reactions toward North Korea and Iran in the wake of the coronavirus.

Michael is flying solo on this episode but, while self-quarantined, still trying to fight the virus fears. He maintains that, rather than the virus, government overreach and economic fallout are the real dangers.  Michael explains why the stimulus of industry bailouts, personal tax refunds and credit expansion should be replaced by cutting regulation, business taxes and tariffs.

Russia, Russia, Russia to start.  Then we move to the coronavirus scare and try to scare you about something else.  We end with why Modern Monetary Theory is stupid and explain how an economy really works.

We interviewed Michael Maharrey of the Tenth Amendment Center at the Libertarian Party of Alabama's convention last weekend.  We cover a range of topics from the surveillance state to the role of the LP to the coronavirus and more.  Enjoy!
