039: F_ the EU and Russia Too
Thursday Jan 30, 2020
Thursday Jan 30, 2020
Michael's lack of interest in impeachment leads to a discussion of US involvement in Ukraine since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. We cover Nuland's machinations in 2014 and the Orange Revolution a decade prior. Also, why might Russia feel threatened? We close on a discussion of the recently unveiled "Deal of the Century," a title the Israelis may agree with and the why the Palestinians believe they left the "Deal of the Century" in another folder.

Let's review: Impeachment is still happening. Virginia happened. California contractors are becoming employees or unemployed. We answer at least eight false or misleading statements in Trump's Iran speech. Then, we answer several more of Netanyahu's false or misleading statements on the same subject. Finally, we offer tips on how to shut down a socialist.

037: Now with Music
Friday Jan 17, 2020
Friday Jan 17, 2020
It's a potpourri podcast starting with a domestic disturbance in Virginia and moving abruptly to the OPCW scandal, which we're betting you've heard very little about. We hit on the esoteric topic of how the lines in the sand became war-worthy and move to the single biggest and pointless topic: the Trump impeachment. Finally, we discuss who qualifies as a terrorist and why the US government should be careful about their definitions, and we finish on the French pension protests. And a big thanks to our longtime friend who provided the music but wished to remain anonymous.

036: The Sky Isn't Falling, Yet
Thursday Jan 09, 2020
Thursday Jan 09, 2020
More talk about Iran and the prospects for a proxy war and more. Beware the excuses for domestic tyranny. It turns out that at least one time a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun. Someone alert the media!

033: FISA Bunk Inspectors
Thursday Dec 19, 2019
Thursday Dec 19, 2019
We add our pennies to the review of the "significant errors" in the FBI's FISA applications, make wild accusations about Comey's motivations, indict multiple Presidents and make predictions about future impeachments. Then, we turn to predicting the beginnings of the next civil war as the people of Virginia and their government duel over who gets to bear arms. There was going to be other stuff, but we didn't get there.

032: Something to Talk About
Friday Dec 13, 2019
Friday Dec 13, 2019
Something that more people should be talking about, something that people are talking about (but they're talking about the wrong thing) and something that people aren't talking about enough. Oh, and there's a new NDAA.

031: Don't Get Lost
Thursday Dec 05, 2019
Thursday Dec 05, 2019
With the COP 25 going on in Madrid, we couldn't resist spending some time on climate change. The NATO conference in London was our obvious next stop. Then we got lost between the US-Mexican border and the Middle East, and we finally found our way back to DC and the impeachment fiasco. In summary, we took the scenic route from climate catastrophe to impeachment catastrophe.

030: Naked Resistance
Thursday Nov 28, 2019
Thursday Nov 28, 2019
The Patriot Act was extended on the back of a bill that increases government spending... again. Gotta keep that impeachment going. A new paradigm for political discussion is proffered. We address protests about public nudity and government invasions of your home before finishing on protests about government and US invasions of your country.
