Using the Portland debacle as a jumping off point, we discuss government authority, the tyranny of the uninformed, democratic devotion and the fallacy of white privilege.

We do our own "lessons learned" assessment of the government response to SARS-CoV-2.  SPOILER:  We determine that there's nothing government can do to prevent the spread of any virus.  And we outline some of the unforeseen consequences of the lock-downs.

Fourth of July Special!!!  Government thought control, media thought control and probably some other kind of thought control, too.  Michael's on his own for the holiday, starting with an anecdote about self-righteous progressives.  Then, he moves to a more serious discussion of the Russian bounty scandal and finishes with a rant about why the government-sponsored student loan racket is not capitalism.

We finally address the Justice Department dropping the charge against General Michael Flynn, after a clear and concise summary of the topic of last week's podcast.  We finish with some criminal justice criticism based on the Flynn investigation, including why innocent people plead guilty and why you should be able to lie to whomever you want.

(Which we didn't realize until after the recording.)  Police in the police state.  Venezuela and Iran in trouble for dealing with each other (with no one else to deal with but China and Russia).  China's also in trouble.  Can't stop talking about SARS-CoV-2, because it's everywhere. *Scary, "ooh."*  But new CDC data reduces mortality.  And Trump finally tweeted something someone didn't like.

The gang's all here, finally, as we review the Libertarian Party Presidential candidate, Dr. Jo Jorgensen; and we discuss what kind of candidate's message will resonate with voters.  We also talk about a few other things.
